On March 28-29, 2025, the UG Chapter, led by Brother Phillip Grimes, hosted the Spring Frolic 2025 event in Angola. Though the event is no longer the primary get together of our fraternity as it once was back in my day, as Homecoming in the Fall has become the primary get together, it is an event that the UG brothers continue to invest time and resources into in order to facilitate the Brotherhood of the UG Chapter and Alumni. They are hopeful they can grow the awareness and the attendance numbers in the future….come on back next year my Alumni brethren! Overall attendance with UG, alumni, parents and other invited guests was estimated to be 60-65 at Club Paradise for the semi-formal dinner and awards ceremony. The atmosphere at the House before and after the Club Paradise event was very welcoming and relaxing….great job UGs!!! Overall, we had approximately 12-15 Alumni attend, which hopefully we can build on this number in future Spring Frolics!
